Electrical and electronic components used in rolling stock and track systems must meet a wide range of requirements: depending on the area of application, these include, for example, resistance to weathering, heat or chemicals, as well as – especially in passenger trains – special fire protection properties. In order to make sure equipment functions safely and reliably, Wevo has developed customised potting compounds, adhesives, sealants and gap fillers – products the company will be showcasing at a railway technology fair for the first time: at InnoTrans in Berlin, between 20 and 23 September.
