Certifications
Even today a product is only as good as the quality behind it. That’s why we have product development and manufacturing processes that incorporate numerous checkpoints to ensure our products meet our extensive range of predetermined quality criteria. But at Wevo, that’s not enough – we have implemented an integrated management system, which defines requirements according to internationally accepted standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949. In fact, Wevo was the first electro-casting resin supplier to obtain voluntary certification for the particularly strict ISO TS 16949 (now: IATF 16949) standard for automotive manufacturers’ quality management. And we are still one of few to achieve this standard.
Product approvals
Our commitment to excellence is evident in the full compliance of our products and services with the specific standards and regulations regarding chemicals and their use. These include the EU´s REACH regulations, RoHS directives which restrict chemical use for certain applications in the EU, the global standardization of chemical classification and labelling (which GHS has developed into an industry-wide standard) and the IMDS/GADSL standard that unifies substance declarations in the automotive industry. At Wevo, we support our customers by providing consultation and product statements for all these requirements.
