With their customisable properties, polyurethane and epoxy potting compounds from Wevo are ideal for use in modern electronic components. For example, the materials offer high temperature resistance and UL classifications for transformers and sensors: whereas our standard polyurethane resins can withstand operating temperatures of between 85 and 130 °C, temperatures of up to 165 °C are possible with special formulations. Wevo’s epoxy-based electro casting resins are designed for temperatures of up to 180 °C, meaning they meet the requirements of insulation class H.

Modern transformers benefit from Wevo’s customised potting compounds in many ways. For instance, apart from high temperature resistance, the materials have adaptable flame-retardant properties. The polyurethane and epoxy casting resins in the WEVOPUR and WEVOPOX product series additionally provide excellent mechanical and electrical insulation.
